Alongside Lynley and bringing a wealth of knowledge and impeccable service to our clients is Sarah (design and marketing co-ordinator); with this team, you'll never be without someone to speak to at the By Design Interiors, Christchurch office.
LYNLEY HANSEN
Business Owner / Interior Designer
In the year 2000, Lynley moved from Gore (Southland) to Christchurch to study, but once she graduated, she realised the city had become her home.
Before starting a family and working for herself, Lynley spent ten years in the kitchen and bathroom industry then more recently, she specialised in flooring.
Lynley believes designing a home's interior is the most challenging yet enjoyable task (besides motherhood) and that building and renovating is exciting. She focuses on keeping her clients on task and loves expressing their clients' unique tastes and personalities through colour, texture, innovative use of wallpapers, lighting, and furnishings, bringing life to their home environments.
Her motto is: trust your instincts; you live there! She says, 'resale may be an important factor, but remember this is your home and sanctuary, and your comfort is essential.'

Design and Marketing Co-ordinator / Interior Designer
Our design and marketing coordinator, Sarah, holds a Dip. Of Interior Design and Graphic Design and is passionate about interior design, art, and design concepts.
At By Design Interiors, Sarah is responsible for our marketing needs. Also, she co-ordinates our consultations, so you're likely to hear her friendly voice when you make a booking with us.
Sarah's a Cantabrian through and through and loves being part of her community. Most excitingly, she enjoys seeing the home projects of By Design Interiors' clients evolve into beautiful homes full of colour and warmth.

Office Administrator
Sheree is the office administrator at By Design Interiors. She also runs her own business—'Taylored Bookkeeping', where she offers a range of services to small business owners and sole traders in the North Canterbury region.
On top of that, she's a mum to 3 children, with a true passion of hers is helping business owners to thrive by using her accounting and administrative skills.
