 By Design Interiors is made up of Nicola & Lynley with an combined total of over 20 years’ experience within the industry.  With a range of services to help with your next building or renovation project,  from full colour schemes interior/exterior, Bathroom & Kitchen planning, wallpaper, drapery, light shades, upholstery or bespoke furniture; we can spend a couple of hours to give focus to key points to implement yourself,  or can arrange and oversee the project, we will create a package to suit your needs and budget.  An interior designer can bring your vision to life, and keep you focused on the overall design ideals.

About After moving to Christchurch to study, once Graduated the city became home. Lynley has spent ten plus years in the kitchen and bathroom industry with a move into flooring, before starting a family & working for herself. Lynley believes designing the interior of your home is one of the most challenging yet enjoyable tasks of any homeowner, Building and renovation can be exciting, she focuses on keeping the client on task and enjoys being able to express the unique taste and personality of her clients through colour, texture, innovative use of wallpapers, lighting and furnishings, bringing life to your environment. Trust your instincts; you live there! Resale maybe an important factor, however remember this is your home and sanctuary.

About After graduating in 2002 with a diploma in Interior Design her love for textiles & sewing lead her into the curtain industry – Nicola enjoys working with modern and contemporary styles however, has a love and appreciation for the more traditional features. Nicola keeps up with the trends but believes in styling a home to suit the clients tastes and budget regardless of what is trending.

An interior designer can bring your vision to life, whatever your budget.  We can spend a couple of hours to give focus to key points to implement yourself,  or can arrange and oversee the project.  We have advised clients on what aspect to renovate first, from arranging quotations, window treatments, furnishings, kitchen or bathroom renovations, commercial interior and exterior colour schemes.
